Nathalie Teirlinck returns seven years after *Le passé devant nous* with *Jonah Was Here*, partly filmed in Ghent. The film follows Bob, a divorced neurologist who moves into his son's student room after his death and gets to know his social circle. Teirlinck wrote the screenplay herself and describes it as a personal story about resilience and connection after loss. Koen De Bouw plays the lead role in a disarming and unpredictable manner. The film premieres at Film Fest Ghent.
