Three Flemish productions have been selected for the 70th BFI London Film Festival (October 7-18). Lukas Dhont presents Coward, his 1917 war drama about two soldiers who find each other in the midst of the front lines. The film is also Belgium's Oscar submission for Best International Feature Film. Pieter-Jan De Pue shows Mariinka, a documentary about Ukrainians from a front-line town who were followed for ten years. Teodora Ana Mihai presents Heysel 85, a thriller set during the 1985 stadium disaster. All three films received support from the VAF/Film Fund.
