Ilya Khrzhanovsky received the Silver Lion for Best Director for Dau, which he described as a journey of twenty years. The Special Jury Prize went to NAZA by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. Stéphane Brizé won Best Screenplay for A Good Little Soldier. John Malkovich received the Volpi Cup for Best Actor for Wild Horse Nine.
