Fernando Franco is currently shooting the film *Lorca* in Granada, Madrid, and Soria. The screenplay was written by Fernando Navarro and reconstructs the final weeks of Federico García Lorca's life. The film follows Lorca from his flight from Madrid following the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War to his execution in Granada. Nacho Sánchez plays the lead role. The cast also includes Francesco Carril, Stéphanie Magnin, Puchi Lagarde, and Pepo Oliva. La Terraza Films is producing the film together with Belgian co-producer Harald House. LaZona Pictures is handling distribution in Spain.
