Screen.brussels is investing one million euros in twelve selected audiovisual projects during its 2026 summer session. This amount generates more than ten million euros in spending within the Brussels economy. The selection includes five feature films, three television series, two animation series for young people, and two documentaries. Nine of the twelve projects are in the hands of Brussels-based production companies. Six of the fourteen involved directors are from Brussels. Nine projects are international co-productions with French, Dutch, Luxembourgish, or Swiss partners. Among the selected projects is O Dierbaar Belgie, a new film by Stijn Coninx based on a screenplay by Jean-Claude van Rijckeghem and Coninx himself.
