Carlos Villafaina makes his solo feature film directorial debut with *Festina Lente*. The film is set in Catalonia and is based on his own experiences with his twin brother, who is cerebrally paralyzed. Nacho Sánchez plays a music teacher who must care for his brother after the death of his mother. Telmo Irureta, Elena Irureta, and Sandra Pujol complete the cast. The production is a collaboration between Astra Pictures and the Belgian Saga Film. The film receives support from the ICAA, ICEC, RTVE, 3CAT, and the Belgian Tax Shelter. The Latin title roughly means "hurry slowly".
