Filming for Les Poisons, the new historical drama by Marc Dugain, concluded this week in Belgium. The film is set during the reign of Louis XIV and explores love, corruption, and poisoning within the Parisian aristocracy. Ludivine Sagnier and Louise Bourgoin star. The screenplay was written by Dugain and Caryl Férey. High Sea Productions is producing the film in co-production with Kidam and Scope Pictures. Canal+ and Ciné+ OCS have pre-acquired the film. France tv Distribution is managing international sales. Ad Vitam is releasing the film in French cinemas.
