Mohanad Yaqubi presents his new documentary *Revolutionaries Never Die* in the Filmmakers of the Present section of the 79th Locarno Film Festival. The film originated from an unanswered invitation by Lebanese filmmaker Jocelyne Saab, who passed away in December 2018. Yaqubi reconstructed her voice through shooting in Arabic, French, and English. He worked with 115 film reels spanning the period 1973–1983. The documentary follows Saab’s artistic and political trajectory through the 1970s, with a focus on the Palestinian Revolution and the Lebanese Civil War. Yaqubi co-wrote the film with Mathilde Rouxel. International sales are handled by Square Eyes.
