Mathieu Amalric's tenth feature film, *Autobiography of an Octopus*, an adaptation of Vinciane Despret's novel *Autobiographie d'un poulpe – et autres récits d'anticipation*, has finished filming and is now in post-production. The film, which began on June 5, follows academic Donna Faraway, who struggles with imposed research fields while pursuing her own hypotheses about animal storytelling. Christèle Tual stars in the lead role, with a cast including Marie-Noëlle Genod, Eva Yeste Mazano, and Gulliver Hecq, and cinematography by Juliette Van Dormael. Les Films du Poisson is producing the film, which is being sold internationally by Pyramide International.
