Docville and the Flemish universities are collaborating on auteur documentaries that highlight scientific research without compromising creativity. In this process, scientists first submitted a proposal and subsequently received media training to pitch their research to filmmakers, who were then given several weeks to develop a concept. The two selected projects each receive a budget of at least 40,000 euros to be realized, while both documentaries will have their world premiere during the opening night of Scienceville on March 18, 2027.
