The short animated film *Melk* by Filip Anthonissen will have its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival (August 5–15), with production by Animal Tank and international rights distributed by Miyu Distribution. Anthonissen, who graduated from KASK in Ghent in 2017 with *Trust Issues*, works at the intersection of animation and visual arts and explores themes such as identity and trauma. In *Melk*, a mother searches for her missing son in a 19th-century village, while the arrival of the devil further escalates the situation. The film, supported by the VAF/Filmfonds, addresses destructive family dynamics.
