Three Flemish films have been selected for the Giffoni Film Festival (July 17-25), considered the most important Italian festival for children's and youth films. *Nowadays Everyone Is Called Sorry* by Frederike Migom, which had its world premiere earlier this year in the Berlinale Generation Kplus competition and subsequently won both the LEO Award and a Best Actress award for Lisa Vanhemelrijck at Goldener Spatz, is competing in the Generator +13 competition. *Skiff* by Cecilia Verheyden, awarded Best Film in Gijón, and the Flemish-Dutch co-production *A Family* by Mees Peijnenburg are both competing in the Generator +15 competition, in which all three films received support from the VAF/Filmfonds.
